TBRS Technology
Total Bone Removal System
Manufacturing cutting-edge trout and salmon
filleting equipment for commercial applications
The TBRS Process
- A pre-rigor fish, with head and collarbone removed, is received for processing.
- The belly flap (as a single piece) and the tail are removed by the TBRS BT-30.
- The gut cavity is cleaned and the fish is washed on the TBRS GR-10.
- The fish is filleted by the patented TBRS-70, which removes all bones, including pin-bones, in a single step.
- The TBRS TI-70 attachment provides six trim and inspection stations for the boneless, skin-on fillets.
- The product is ready to be packaged.
Features of the Total Bone Removal System
- Pinbone removal and filleting are accomplished in the same step in the same machine.
- The TBRS-70 is specifically designed to accomodate pre-rigor or extremely fresh fish. (This is the only machine that can accomplish this.)
- Trout application handles fish from 1.5 to 3.5 round weight pounds.
- Salmon application handles fish from 2.5 to 20 round weight pounds.
- Adjustable processing rate (up to 18 fish per minute).
- All stainless-steel, long-life components, suitable for a marine environment.
- The TBRS-70 requires 3-phase 208 power at 25 amps, and 10 CFM compressed air at 100 PSI. No hydraulics needed.
